The County Hotel, Carnforth
At The County Hotel, we can provide for a drink with friends, day out with the family or a group as well as meals at lunch and dinner and en-suite accommodation for longer stays. We have excellent function suites and a well known variety of quality entertainment that brings back guests time and again. Our lovely location makes this the ideal spot for travellers wishing to explore the region or simply savour the tranquillity and natural beauty that abounds.
Easily reached off junction 35 on the M6, the County hotel of Carnforth is easily found right in the town centre and has more than ample parking. With so many places of interest nearby such as Leighton Moss Bird Reserve and Warton Cragg Quarry as well as Morecambe and the Lakes, you will be spoilt for choice when planning your day.
Accommodation:
Our lovely Lodge offers all en-suite rooms that are so comfortable and welcoming – you will be reluctant to leave and eager to return! We have 5 doubles, 3 twins, 2 small family rooms and 1 large family suite. Each has beverage making facilities, T.V. and all the comfort you long for when on holiday or enjoying a short break.
Tariff is for 'room only' with *breakfast available if you choose:
- from £55.00 double/twin
- from £60.00 small family room
- from £85.00 large family suite
*A hearty breakfast is available for just £7.95 or a lighter Continental for £4.95.
Drinking/Dining:
We have a welcoming lounge/bar where you can socialise and enjoy a drink before or after your meal in The Gateway Restaurant. The Gateway serves breakfast 7.30am-9.30am. Food is served in the Gateway Restaurant and Bar between 12 noon and 9.00 pm, Monday to Saturday and on Sunday, when we offer our superb carvery, between 12 noon and 8.00 pm.
Throughout the week we offer very special prices between 12 noon and 7.00 pm:
Monday to Friday: £5.00. Sunday: £7.95.
Our menu is varied and inspired, offering tantalising lite bites, weekly specials and a sampling of flavours from traditional to exotic. All food is of course home-cooked and locally sourced where possible.
Entertainment:
We are well known for our exceptional entertainment that offers variety, amusement and talent beyond expectation, with Tribute Nights, Murder Mystery Nights and Party Nights a particular speciality.
Parties/Functions
The large Function Room caters for up to 120 people and our more intimate Conference Room is perfect for about 20 people. All occasions are catered for, from weddings, birthdays, celebrations and anniversaries to group meetings, corporate events, company get-togethers, team building, training days and much more. We are expert planners and look forward to assisting you in getting your event just right.
